The Patrol Division is the backbone of any Police Department, responding to all calls for service (accidents, alarms, disturbances, etc.). All Police Officers begin their career working in the Patrol Division, working the streets.
Shifts
The Patrol Division is split into day and night shifts. The day shift works from 0800 to 1600 hours. Officers assigned to the night shift work rotating shifts of 1600 to 2400 hours and 0000 to 0800 hours.
