About NEMLEC
The Watertown Police Department joined NEMLEC in 2001. Since that time the Watertown Police Department has devoted officers and dispatchers to each of the NEMLEC units which include:
- Computer Crime Unit
- Crime Scene Services Unit
- Motorcycle Unit
- Regional Communications (Mobile Command Unit)
- Regional Response Team
- STARS (School Threat Assesment Response System)
- SWAT (Special Weapons And Tactic)
