LiUNA continued protesting the fact that an out of state demolition contractor was doing work in Watertown. The demolition contractor, Kidder Building and Wrecking Inc., continued demolition of the building as well as sorting and hauling away debris. Work was slowed down today when live wires were hit by the demolition machinery. This caused some sparking and smoke but no fire. Work in the area was immediately stopped. The source of that electricity was identified and disconnected by National Grid.
